Motorifik : Secret Things

Motorifik is the collaboration from Phil Kay (from Working For A Nuclear Free City) and French songwriter Idrisse Khelifi. This album has all that wonderful production that is normally associated with WFaNFC albums, but this time around there's more focus on a pop aesthetic (albeit with a large shoegaze influence) and less on the experimental end. The songs on this seem to have a myriad of influences; and on their myspace the "sounds like" category stretches on for miles.

When I listened through Secret Things I certainly wasn't blown away, but it was definitely an enjoyable listen. I'm sure I'll be coming back to listen to Strange Weather and Ghosts. Here's the title track from the album.
