UGH! I can't stand No Age. I saw them live and was highly disappointed and ever since can't get in to them. I am curious to see what you really liked about this album though
I think the album has great examples of punk, indie rock, shoegaze and even pop all performing at the same time. They all kind of feed off each other in a really unique way. I really like the dichotomy between the really thick, powerful and disorienting tracks and the more ambient ones like Cappo > Keechie or Here Should Be My Home > Impossible Bouquet.
Overall the album just really hit me at the right time I guess. Miner is really the only track I could care less about.
